About Us

Broadband Consulting Group, Inc. (BBCGi) is a consortium of broadband technology, telecom, marketing, and IT specialists with combined experience of over 420 years in developing, building and marketing complex technologies for service providers.

Formed in 2003, BBCGi specialists have been successfully building and developing both profitable products and cost effective solutions for clients within the telecom industry.  Clients and solutions have varied in both scope and size from the largest US telecom companies, to regional independent telecom companies and cable telephony providers.

In 2005, BBCGi co-founded ShareTracker, LLC.  ShareTracker was launched to meet the growing competitive needs of the wireline voice industry.  After successfully launching its flagship wireline voice market share product, ShareTracker was purchased by Telephia in April of 2007, who was subsequently purchased by Nielsen in June of 2007.  Since 2007, BBCGi associates have continued to work with Nielsen to assist in the development of its wireline and wireless market research products, including application and product development support for Nielsen’s Video and Broadband Market Share products.

Broadband Consulting Group, Inc. is led by its President Eric Fogle who has over 16 years of significant experience in the telecommunications industry, most recently as Vice President of Product Leadership within Nielsen’s Telecom Practice Group.   Prior to founding BBCGi, Eric was Director of Broadband Marketing at BellSouth Telecommunications (currently AT&T).  His extensive telecom experience covers the spectrum from early broadband product development; business case development and approval for expanding DSL, integrated messaging, and other Telecom products; large-scale carrier class market driven network deployment; and driving unprecedented growth in broadband services across multiple internet service providers and market segments. His past work has provided him with a unique and invaluable combination of technical and business expertise, tactical deployment knowledge, as well as expertise in broadband operations, sales, marketing and business development.

Eric received a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri, and an MBA from Emory University.

Currently, BBCGi has over thirty employees in six states, and utilizes development resources from around the world.
