Broadband Consulting Group (BBCGi) provides enhanced search capability for the BroadbandMatch Tool.
COLUMBIA, Missouri (January 18, 2010) - Broadband Consulting Group (BBCGi) has developed a keyword searchable version of NTIA/RUS's BroadbandMatch database that is available via the BBCGi website to applicants seeking resource expertise or partners for infrastructure funding under the NTIA Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) and the RUS Broadband Initiatives Program (BIP).
BBCGi is providing this enhanced searching capability free of charge to encourage collaboration that will enable clients to strengthen their NTIA/RUS applications. In addition, BBCGi has posted on their website a list (by state) of all the stimulus program applications submitted during the first round of funding in 2009 to enable potential partnership opportunities with previous round applicants in the same geographic area.
"Our broadband connection database provides an efficient and user-friendly tool for identifying potential partnerships or resources to help carry out the federal government's broadband initiative," says BBCGi President Eric Fogle. Additional screening against prior applications at the market or city/county level is also available.
The BBCGi database collects all updates to the BroadbandMatch website on a daily basis and indexes each entry to allow greater granularity and enhanced search capabilities. "This tool is not a replacement for submitting your company and contact information on the BroadbandMatch website provided by NTIA," cautions Eric Fogle, "but rather an enhanced search tool that can be used to help identify organizations that could potentially share resources or collaborate on projects."
